Introduction
When placed in an environment of people who could very well be mistaken for robots built in the same factory, with the same parts, set to the same default factory settings, how does one adapt and essentially survive? This is my guide on how to survive the Wasatch Savages. Growing up in an area so strongly based upon religion has its benefits along with its drawbacks. It gives you a nice sense of group acceptance basically from the minute you've left the womb. However, it's hard to understand yourself as an individual while you're being lost in the ocean of expectations you've inherited from your peers and family members. Having such expectations placed in front of you can either make you buckle and become one of the robots, or how about we just call them drones? Deal. Or it could help you really understand who you are as an individual. It can make you just become regular, typical almost. It can also help you find what you really want for yourself. You're young, you're supposed to be selfish that way. So, growing up in an area influenced largely by religion has allowed me to really understand what and who I don't want in my life. When I started making decisions on my own I realized there's more to life than white button-ups and neck ties on Sunday mornings. So if you're going through what I went through, here are some things that I hope can help. Here's my guide to surviving the Wasatch Savages. Enjoy.
